Obsession started fishing in 1991 with Captain Biel at the helm. Capt Derek is an I.G.F.A. Ambassador Captain, which means he has taken and passed a qualifications test and been referred by other qualified captains. It assures you get an experienced captain for your fishing adventure.

Prior to 1991, Derek fished with "Red" Bailey and "Spike" Herbert in St. Thomas. He has fished many tournaments in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Nevis, St. Lucia, Grenada and Antigua on several different boats. He was an angler for a week on Viking II fishing for Black Marlin in Australia in 2004. So he understands what anglers want out of their fishing trips!

Our rates include everything needed for the fishing and we provide complimentary soft drinks and beer.
